	WORKPLACE The Workplace (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations provide that employers, or persons who have control of a workplace, must comply with minimum safety and health requirements for the workplace. They must safeguard the health and safety of all employees, including those with disabilities, for example suitable and sufficient ventilation and lighting and ensure the maintenance of workplace equipment and systems. In addition they must provide all employees with adequate welfare facilities, such as sanitary conveniences, washing facilities and facilities for rest and to eat meals.
