	SUPPLY OF MACHINERY The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations and the Supply of Machinery (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations make it an offence for a 'responsible person' to supply most machinery or a safety component unless it satisfies the essential health and safety requirements; the appropriate conformity assessment has been undertaken; an EC declaration of conformity or declaration of incorporation has been issued and that it is safe. In addition, unless a declaration of incorporation has been issued, CE marking must have been properly affixed.
